Sensas 3000 Roach (1kg)
The Benchmark for Silverfish Success
Sensas 3000 Roach (Gros Gardons) is perhaps the most famous roach groundbait ever produced. Part of the legendary "3000 Series," this 1kg bag is the result of decades of development by the Sensas match team. It is a versatile, medium-textured bait designed specifically to attract and hold roach of all sizes in your swim.
The 3000 Roach Profile
This isn't just a generic fish feed; it is a precisely balanced blend of biscuit, seeds, and specific aromatic triggers that mimic the natural diet and preferences of Rutilus rutilus.
Perfect Texture: A medium-fine grind that creates a consistent carpet on the bottom, allowing you to build a swim without overfeeding the fish.
Rich in Hemp & Seeds: Contains crushed oil-rich seeds—a roach’s favorite—which provide a slow-release attraction that keeps fish scavenging.
Active Particles: Designed to be "active" enough to release small bubbles and particles that travel through the water column, drawing fish from distance.
Versatile Binding: Easy to dampen down for a firm ball (for balling-in on a pole line) or kept slightly drier for a fast-releasing feeder mix.
How to Mix for Maximum Results
To get the most out of a bag of 3000 Roach, the way you wet the bait is key:
The Two-Stage Dampen: Pour the bag into a bucket and add about 400-500ml of water. Mix vigorously and let it sit for 15 minutes.
The Riddle: Pass the mix through a groundbait riddle (sieve). This removes lumps and aerates the bait, creating a fluffy, light texture that fish find much more appealing.
Adjust for Depth: Add a little more water if fishing deep, fast-flowing water, or keep it drier for shallow canals and ponds.
